There are many specialized titles not mentioned here, such as Sheriffs and other military titles, but on the most part the players interacting with those characters will be aware of who they are and what their title designates.

Agrikan Temple Hierarchy

Viriahn (high-priest)
Usually appointed by the bishop.

There are usually eight Aperani (Masters) in each temple

Aperalis (Master of Acolytes)
Trains apprentice priests and assigns them to other masters.

Apervisha (Master of Maintenance)
Runs the kitchen, cleaning, etc.

Aperphelis (Master of Treasures)
Responsible for artifacts and major treasures.

Apersuphur (Master of Archives)
The master in charge or temple records.

Aperahkai (Master of Propagation)
Relations with the community. usually has spies.

Aperagris (Master of the High Discipline)
Leads most rituals of High Discipline. Sets tests for acolytes.

Aperterahn (Master of the Middle Discipline)
Leads relations with the Terahni(the secular arm of the church).

Aperhanar(Master of the Low Discipline)
Leads open ceremonies for 'lay' supplicants.

The Heruchai (Lietenants)
This is the rank between acolyte and Master.

The Agnichari (Acolytes)
Recruited between the ages of 16 and 20.

Central Authority

Apalankh (Primate)
Kemelras (Bishop)
Ulankh (Free Priest)
Roughly equal in power to a temple Master.

Clerical Order Ranks

Semesharil (Clerical Grandmaster)
Political and inspirational leader of a Clerical Order.

Markithra (Deputy Grandmaster)

Fighting Order Titles

Akareta(Commander in Chief-not a priest)
Tenaka (deputies to the Akareta)
Meketa(High Commander)
Telmen(Commander)
Dotelen(Subcommander)
Haragki(Knight - an actual noble)
Laumak(Soldier)
Honorary Status any of the above with Anas- before it

Laranian Temple Hierarchy

Serolan (High Priest)
Makes temple policy in consultation with the other Masters.

Valaran (Master of Acolytes)
Trains and assigns acolytes.

Suloran (Master of Archives)
Runs the temple library and keeps the relics.

Obasaran (Master of Secular Affairs)
Liason with local secular powers.

Menoran (Master of the Fighting Order)
Relations with the fighting order associated with the Temple.

Matakea (Temple Priests)
The common priests.

Ashesa (Acolytes)
Usually enter the church between the ages of sixteen and twenty-four.

Central Authority

Sebrath (The Pontiff)
Also known as the Abbot of Tengela.

The Tirnatha (The Body of the Unwilling)
A twenty member council appointed by the Sebrath.

Ethelanca (The Holy Office)
Attempts to guard the church from internal corruption.

Regional Authority

Lirrath (The Primate)
Appointed by the Sebrath.

Serekela (Archbishop)
Appointed by the Sebrath.

Rekela (Bishop)
Appointed by the Sebrath - sometimes by a Serekela.

Clerical Order Ranks

Turintesa (Clerical Grandmaster)
Duties dependant on goal of the order.

Fighting Order Titles

Chabla (Grandmaster)
The military commander of an order.
Reblena (Commander)
Usually of noble birth.
Melana (Knight)
A member of the order that is of noble birth.
Erana (Wandering Knight)
Usually a questing knight.
Meken (Soldier)
A common soldier in a fighting order.

Halean Temple Hierarchy

(all female)
Aramia (High-Priestess)
sets policy and administration of the temple, as well as the liassin with secular authorities.

Ralithina (Mistress of Silk and Gold)
runs the temple treasury - tithing, businesses, etc.

Desilia (Mistress of the Luxuriant Page)
Temple archivist.

Kilina (Mistress of Discipline)
Runs the temple security - oversees the Solithar.

Lorisina (Mistress of the Golden Banquet)
Leads most high-temple rituals.

Yishvina (Mistress of the Harmonies)
Sings, leads most 'lay' worshipper rituals.

Corthina (MIstress of Acolytes)
Trains and directs the acolytes.

Shenasene (Priestesses)
The 'normal' priestesses in the temple.

Corathar (Acolytes)
Recruited between the age of 12 and 20.

Solithar (Temple Guards)
All males, mostly handsome men.

Central Authority

Hilenea (Pontiff)
Tevol-Hilen (Council of Fragrant Gold)
A council of 49 women that advise the Pontiff.

Regional Authority

Salara (Primate)

Order of the Silken Voice
This is the only Clerical Order of the temple, and its goal is to spread the faith.

Manidar (Acolytes)
Do menial work and learn a lot.

Haliki (Priests/Priestesses)
Tend to specialize their learning.

Rowanti (Loremasters)
Teachers of subject matter

Temple Adminsitration

The Ibarti (High Deacon)
Sets temple policy.

Serini (Keeper of the Holy Lore)
Keeps the sacred texts and artifacts.

Deronti (Archivist)
In charge of care and preservation of non-sacred texts.

Falorin (Councillor)
Acolytes advocate.

Olunar (Seneshal)
Deals with the day to day temple affairs.

Maecor (Father Visitor)
Advises the Council of Electors - appointed by the Pontiff.

Central Authority

Rion Ishar (Pontiff)
Chief mortal priest of Save-K'nor.

The Ishranor Enclave
About nine members - can dismiss even the Pontiff.

Deor Ishar (Primate)
Runs a primacy. Selects Father Visitors.

Peonian Temple Hierarchy

Pelnala (High Priest/Priestess)
Controls the temple. Sets policy.

Solana (Master of Acolytes)
Trains and assigns the acolytes.

Avesana (Master of Archives and Treasures)
Keeps temple records and artifacts.

Lerovana (Master of Healing)
Either a physician or an administrator.

Ebasethe (Temple priests/priestesses)
The common priests.

Esolani (Acolytes)
Usually join the church from ages fourteen to twenty.

Reslava (Mendicant)
Traveling priests.

Central Authority

Hapalan (Pontiff)
Lives in Perna.

The Pelclunia (Cardinals)
Sixteen member council.

Regional Authority

Mepeleh (Primate)
Appointed by the Pontiff.

Sulaplyn (Bishop)
Run several temples.

Navehan Temple Hierarchy

Garana (High Priest)
Absolute master of the temple.

Arasha (Chief Deacon)
Deputy master of the temple.

Wolren (Master of the Archives and Treasure)
Keeps the temple money, relics and written words.

Tarava (Master of Discipline)
Administers discipline.

Prada (Master of Acolytes)
Trains junior acolytes.

Dezena (Master of Ritual)
Teaches mysteries and doctrine.

Adranatha (Junior Acolytes)
Acolytes that have lived to age eleven.

Dranatha (Senior Acolytes)
Acolytes that have passed a rather grim test.

Navas-Kara (Temple Assassin)
An honoray title - must have murdered at least one person.

Central Authority

Nagara (Pontiff)
Lives in Maniquideh.

Be'ara-Tulna (Holy Office)
Messengers and inquisitors of the temple.

Regional Authority

Shuganal (Primate)
Sets regional policy.

Morgathian Temple Hierarchy

Khidarmur (High Priest)
Master of the temple.

Khalas (Underpriests)
Twelve priests in a temple.

Sungai (Senior Acolytes)
They have attained the second circle.

Longai (Acolytes)
Lowest ranking priests. Usually disliked.

Central Authority

Vynkhadur (Pontiff)
Rules from Meokilis in Azeryan.

The Namana-Khidur (Jury of the Dark Orb)
Twelve member council to the Pontiff.

Torkena-Matan (The Holy Office)
Exposes deviance and heresy in the church. Very powerful. Very scary people.

Gurima (The Thirteen Primates)
Harn is but one province, ruled by one Gurima.

Equestrian - Priviledged class of Tharda (basically noble)
