Submitting Crafts

Replace the default information in the form fields below to create your craft. Keep in mind that you do not have to use all the options in the phase stage, but I have used as many options as possible to give you an idea of what tools you have at your disposal for making very detailed crafts.

Important Note: Please try to make crafts that produce items that already exist in the game,  and wherever possible use materials that already exist in the game.  Please use the Custom Item Creation form to request items that do not exist in the game.

In addition, to help your fellow players with their crafts, please try to use materials produced by other crafts, such as Woodcrafting using planks from the Timberwright crafts.  In addition, ponder creating crafts that produce an item needed for other crafts, such as a Woodcrafter craft to make kegs for use in Innkeeping brewing crafts.  In this way, we can help to build a better player economy. Happy Crafting. :)

Crafts are broken down into phases. Each time you see a text response to your craft you have gone through a phase.  There can be a number of phases in a craft depending on its difficulty or complexity.

Each Phase has requirements.

  • 1st: The message given to the person issuing the craft command.
  • 3rd: All other people in the room see this message. The crafter and the target don't get this message.
  • 1:, 2:, 3:, etc A list of the items used in the craft stating whether the item is in-room, used, held, produced, etc..
  • s: A skill or stat check if necessary (not always needed in a phase as more skill checks in a craft make a craft very difficult). A fail of the skill or stat check brings the player immediately to the fail message, and the fail objects.
  • t: A time duration for the phase set in seconds.
  • cost: You can make the crafter pay in hits and/or moves. For example: cost: hits 10 moves 20
  • $n short description of person executing the craft
$t the tool required by the phase. It is defined by tool:
$1..$9 objects created or used by the craft. Defined by 1: thru 9:
$e "he" or "she" pronoun of the person executing the craft
$m "him" or "her" pronoun of the person executing the craft
$s "his" or "her" pronoun of the person executing the craft
Phase 1

Note: $1, $2 and $3 are objects that you need to specify ...
Note: $n is a place holder for the persons short description, $e is a place holder for s/he.
